Achronima marvels at existence. At the will in the impulse to represent, to tell a story, to discover a myth, to create an object.
Great art repeats the passage over the interval between nothingness and being, over the time before becoming. That is why it can lead thought to fold upon itself and allow the question:
What am I being?
Every aesthetic experience is existential and time is its vehicle and its omen. However, it is the aesthetic experience that opens the crack to a freedom: through which being can observe itself as temporal fulguration, but which does not submit.
Achronima wants to share this experience of escape from Chronos. The objects we choose can be from any period or technique, from Prehistory to today, but they all have a crack.
